July 1, 2021, marked a special day for Prince William and Harry. The two came together for a beautiful but short ceremony to unveil Princess Diana’s statue on what would have been her 60th birthday.

Prince William and Harry have had a strained relationship since Harry decided to quit royalty. However, they seemed at ease with each other as they unveiled the statue.

“Prince William and Harry have wanted to do something for Princess Diana for such a long time. There have been various attempts including Diana’s Memorial Fountain. Nothing captured the essence of Diana like this.” Said Nick Bullen to Fox News.

The statue seems to have captured their hearts. Kate watched at a distance with the kids as the two unveiled the statue. The Royals will be visiting the statue at a later time.

The visit was Prince Harry’s second travel to the UK since his Controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey. The previous visit was to attend his grandfather’s Prince Philip funeral. Both visits have been short-lived. In less than an hour, Prince Harry was seen heading to pick his flight to return to the United States.
